Ronald  L. May, 84 of Toledo, OH, died Saturday, November 14, 2015, in his home. Born November 23, 1930, in Bedford Twp., Michigan, he was the son of Harland and Mildred  (Lero) May. A graduate of  the former Libbey High School, he served his country in the US Army during the Korean War.  He married Elizabeth (Wixsom) Pero on July 2, 1976.  Ron was employed by the former Toledo Stamping for 33 years, retiring in 1989. He was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth; children, Monica (Jerry) Lohmeyer, Denesse (Chris) Ferrara, Doug (Katie) May, Jon May; Step-daughters, Mary (David) Cherry, Wendy (Ron) Pietrzak; brother, Kenneth May; sisters, Barbara (Dan) Pfeiffer, Sue Koczorowski and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Warren “Gordon” May,  sisters-in-law, Marilyn and Judith May, brother-in-law, Bob Koczorowski and  Step-son, Allan Pero.

Visitation will be from 9- 10:00 am on Thursday, November 19, 2015, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am at Little Flower Catholic Church, 5522 Dorr Street, Toledo, Ohio 43615.  Interment will follow at Whiteford Union Cemetery.
